T e x t: Taking note of how my artist model – Amber Road Designs – plays with different use of materiality, pattern, and light within their space, I started thinking about how I could showcase my tiles in order to displays its full effect. Much-like my artist model , I found placing the tiles near strong natural or artifical lighting to be the most effective. ARD used light filtration in order to empahasis the deep tonal range they have used throughout the space. I wanted to combine my transparent colour tiles with the reflection
of natural light in order to create this different facade in which the tiles never demonstrated before.
