After slowly coming to a decision, I decided to stick with the textured line work. I felt this worked with my idea much more than the others. Playing with light and darkness also enhanced this pattern in which can be manipulated within the space as I desire. Producing a larger scale version helped me visualize how it would look on the wall and the scale of the lines within it.
